The Institute for Global Law Economics and Finance adopts a flexible approach in its engagement with stakeholders and is closely aligned with the needs of policymakers, as well as the needs of the industry and their advisors in various areas of law, economics and finance.

IGLEF engages in the following activities:

  • Capacity Building and Continuing Professional Development: IGLEF conducts tailor made training, and executive education programmes on a range of issues related to distinct areas of law, economics and finance, as well as to their intersection. Specific areas include: complex commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, banking law, insolvency law, competition law, financial regulation, project finance, and others.
  • Internships: IGLEF invites exceptional Post Doc students, as well as PhD and taught postgraduate students for short-term research projects in various areas of law, economics and finance.
  • Project based activities: IGLEF engages in various policy and industry oriented projects in the areas of law, economics and finance and provides advice that addresses stakeholders’ needs.
